It's been an amazing summer of delivering Qi Gong Classes to the local community at Moses Gate Country Park. Our weekly classes are very popular, resulting in wonderful feedback of bettering wellness for students.

Qi Gong Class

Currently delivering "energy exercise" classes for members at Nuffield Health in Bolton. This class benefits from the "slow down" movement of Qi Gong, where we concentrate on our breath and movement. Whilst cultivating our body's natural energy, bringing about an energised and relaxed feeling.

The winter months are harder for mental health. This workplace wanted their staff to be enriched with knowledge of becoming more self aware and learn about the fundamentals of stress management.

Starting daily meditation sessions over six weeks significantly improved participants' relaxation, focus, and stress reduction. Sharing positive affirmations and meditation tips on Slack fostered a supportive community, motivating team members to join in and experience the benefits of mindfulness. These initiatives enhanced team spirit, productivity, and well-being, creating a more effective learning environment.

Meditation Teacher Experience

I am a City & Guilds qualified teacher for adult learners and have been teaching adults in Holistic Therapy since 2009. I have been teaching the Meditation Teacher Diploma by The Guild since 2016.  I have facilitated both meditation and mindfulness classes since 2016. 
I started my personal meditation practice in 2008 and mindfulness a little later. However it was Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction that really changed my daily way of being.

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Training

I completed my 8 weeks, 150hr MBSR course in 2021.  Why MBSR ? 
I found that my meditation practice alone wasn't quite working for me until I attended this particular type of programme, I was relaxed while meditating, however the calmness and peace wasn't lasting throughout the day. Mindfulness practice has changed every part of my day. As, this is a more useable life skill that transforms your whole approach on life. 

Who I work with

I work with both groups and individuals to help them on their wellbeing journey in both mindfulness and holistic wellbeing.  Students learn how to better cope with stressful situations and learn the skills of becoming more mindful in their everyday life.
